The game is nearing completion and first major update is just around the corner.
Most probably on Friday, Feb 9th.
Those of you who have requested updates will get a new version within 48 hours or so of this post.

If you have any ideas that you would like to see in the game, do not hesitate to drop me a line or comment below.

I am always looking for constructive ideas.
If some quality tweaks are made to the game, you might win some In-App Purchases, free gems and other things.
I prefer to launch free updates as part of an aggressive DLC release schedule.

In the first update, I will fix UI bugs, and multiple other adjustments.
After that, I will add objectives in the game mode.
Then, I will add more enemy drones on battles, and will add Defense and Offense drone lines.
You will be able to select one of them, and fight them one at a time.
There will be unique parts, and you will unlock them via Battle Challengers.
This includes unique enemy drones, with special abilities.

I want the player to enjoy commanding all the units.

What features are planned for future updates:

-Ability to change part and defense for economy and deploy the economy to the part.
-All the parts will have rotation of directions and speed.

-A one hour battle due to its complexity.

-Live strategic combat with your own friends, on a dedicated servers.

Parsing a string in java

I have the following string:
/test/a,b,c,d,e

I need to get the values of the variables, which are:
a,b,c,d,e

Without quotation marks, this string is a property of an object, which value is a string.
I tried to use the String.split(stringSeparator,limit), but when this property has a value that contains space I get only the first space.

A:

Use a scanner, or a StringTokenizer.
// Java 6:
String[] values = str.split(“,”);

// Java 7
String[] values = str.split(“\\s*,\\s*”);

Alternatively, if you want to support Java 1.2, and the troublesome *, just split on,. (Though the * will be a pain in Java 1.2.)

A:

I’d go with a regular expression:
String s = “/test/a,b,c,d,e”;
Pattern p = Pattern.compile(“/([^,]+)”);
Matcher m = p.matcher(s);

while(m.find()) {
System.out.println(m.group(1));
}

Regular expressions are great!
But, you could also do something like:
ArrayList values = new ArrayList();
String[] parts = str.split(“,”);
for (String val : parts) {
values.add(val.trim());
}

ArrayList is a class and trim() is a method in the String class.
