Metal Swarm Infinity is a classic shoot ’em up set in the post-apocalyptic future of 500 years from now. As a being of pure and unbreakable metal, you fight to survive and thwart a global race of terrors known as the Metal Swarm to rid the galaxy of the scourge they pose.
But do not worry, we will not force you to play as a pure metal being and you can switch to human mode at any time and use weapons and devices of the human race!
But to unlock the full arsenal of the Metal Swarm, you will have to face the biggest challenge to ever face a Metal Soldier, the monstrously huge and devastating Metal Boss!

The creators of Deadly Premonition and isometric retro masterpiece Blackwell Descent share some stuff about their upcoming game, A Love At First Light.
A new title based on a brand new story and experiences, new and old characters will return and it’s a huge adventure.
And at PAX West they showed us a new trailer.
Bethesda Jannetty from A Love At First Light said that Blackwell: Remnant is a big story game which the development team has already started. Their priority is to create a game that’s coherent to the Blackwell Universe with new features and new techniques. And the latest announcement is “The game’s length could be easily between 20 and 30 hours of gameplay.”

Llama Spirit is a 26 person team based in the UK. Among our team are game designers, artists, animators, programmers, and more. We are all passionate about games and proud to be a part of the thriving, independent gaming community. Our brief was to create a game that is interactive, cute, and educational. We looked at several games, including the incredibly cute Llama Lily, and came to the conclusion that Llama Spirit would be a great fit. Our game is currently being developed for PC, Mac, and mobile (iOS and Android).

Llama Spirit began with a need to make a game that is accessible and hard-hitting, while still being lighthearted and educational. To accomplish this, Llama Spirit chose to stay outside the established industry boundaries and instead approach the topic of politics from a fresh perspective. However, our real passions lie in the cuteness factor. The Llama Spirit team is a unit of multi-talented individuals with wide-ranging skill sets. Our art director is also the programmer and our artist is also a world-renowned animator, so you can say we are pretty well-rounded. Crossing my desk at around 12 months after release, this has to go down as one of my largest mistakes as a gamer. I should have filed this review on release day so I have something to cover, but then I would not get any of the recent and heated exchanges that have sprung up in my social networks as ‘The Answer’ has forever trashed ‘The Question’.

This is only the beginning and the internet will pick up on this review because fans wanted a Word of Warning to current players and those considering the game. There are two articles coming from the article platform on which this was originally written titled ‘Waterloo – Old Scores New Scores’. They are the first and second review of Waterloo from the Defective Math.

For those who’ve not played this game or just want to skip the banter, the game is about the defence of the Anglo-Portuguese prime sea against the French ‘omnium gatherum’ – a Napoleonic army. The rules work by having the defender roll two dice at the start of his turn and the attacker rolling two at the end of her turn. These numbers are not shared with the defender but if they are favourable to the defender they have the ability to participate in hostilities that involve a ready movement and attack or capture action. The defender also has the option to keep the forces he has already deployed on the field or even move them to a different position on the field. This results in him having mobility that has historically never been possible in Napoleonic games.

The Napoleon game leverages the rules of ‘Blitzkrieg’ or Fast Advance (ADW) as well as Basic Move and Action (BMA) and the title ‘Waterloo’ has some relevance as the game ends with the French attaining victory by destroying British Forces as a result of defeating two Generals.

This was always going to be an exciting game to play as it managed to merge two well established war games into a single product with some unique and creative rules that could alter not only the way the game played, but also the war.
