The scenario is designed to be easy to learn and play, with a consistent flow of events. However, the Keeper will need to make several planned decisions about how to resolve challenging aspects of the scenario.
If the Keeper is unsure about a specific feature of the scenario, then he or she can refer to the Keeper’s Notes for details.
The scenario can also be run via a free iOS application (purchased separately) allowing players to control their avatars within the Arkham Horror computer roleplaying game.

I am the Lost Tales of Innsmouth Guild, and we are a group of volunteers and fans of the classic H. P. Lovecraft Cthulhu Mythos themed role playing game.
We are already working on our first scenario: The Innsmouth Legacy and will hopefully be starting to playtest the scenario soon.

There are two modes of play in “The Wizard’s Tower”. Free and Arcade.
Free play.
In this mode you control the Wizard in his mission to save his beloved kingdom from the encroaching Trolls. In Free play you pick the tutorial levels to unlock and then take on the Trolls in a variety of ways. As you continue playing the game you unlock new wizard towers and new spells to use on the Trolls as well as better weapons and armour. Both Hero and Goblin enemies advance up the tower at varying speeds as you fight. Some enemy types have unique abilities and abilities.
The tower defence theme is not the only way you can play, you can also run around smashing stuff and doing stuff like that.
Arcade play.
In Arcade play you choose between the three elemental spells Fire, Ice and Storm and have to defeat a number of different bosses to progress. There are a large number of stages and it is your job to destroy enemies and advance through the stage you are given, you will get three lives for this mode and as it is a single player game you have to work your way through the game using the spells you have at your disposal. However unlike in Free Play you do not pick the stages to play, you are presented with a randomly generated stage every time you start up the game.
To make things more interesting the game attempts to generate a unique arena for each game you play. This means that each game is slightly different and each stage you play on makes the game harder or easier.

This game doesn’t work on Windows.

Customising the Towers:
Each tower in the game has an ability and on top of that you can use a combo of those abilities to create spells. If you have no friends to play with, or a very short attention span, this game might be perfect for you.
To customise the abilities you go to the Tower Designer, which allows you to create individual towers to use in the game, if you are lucky enough to already have friends they can help you out with this. You can either add in towers you already own, create ones from scratch, or purchase towers from others. Creating new towers is easy enough, either from scratch or from purchased models. As well as towers you can customise the weapons you use and the shields you wear.
