this is how your warranty card (looks like temporary) is built. there is a unique pu number, which is being used to identify your console. on the bottom of this card should be printed your scph number. than you need to check your pu number from pcb mainboard. now you need to check your motherboard’s pin numbers or jumper position [if it’s pal made] or use v12 [usa version] or v12 a/b [europe version] diagrams. you can play back super7 with just changing the points (switch wires) on your console, without use of spare pin on mainboard. but, don’t forget to solder the pin of proper position on the console. you can use v12 or v12 a/b diagrams to make solder your hardware and ps2’s on scph-90006 without any other consoles.

before installation, make sure you know what type of diagram you need to use. first of all check your scph number label located on bottom case of your console. than get inside the console and check pu number on playstation pcb mainboard [see photos below].

i don’t know how to do that, but if you get to a dos-based system you can use the linux boot disk to write ‘disklabel’ onto the disk, and then use that to get the linux drive table when starting the system. you can then copy the drive table to your main drive to get it there when the machine boots. you can then use that to set the drive table to something that is working before using the other linux boot disk or the dos boot disk to write the drive table.
i am not familiar with windows at all, so i am not going to try to explain how to do that. i’m just saying that you can set it up to boot to the linux disk before the dos disk and use that to set the drive table. you can then copy that drive table to the main drive later to get it where it should be. read more

note that the version number (v#) is a number assigned to specific models by modders. within each version number are several console models (scph-#####), and each of those console numbers can have several board models (gh-###, or gh-###-##). this list may not be completely comprehensive.
