the hp psc-1330, the epson r9000, the hp psc-1300, the epson r9500, the hp psc-1230. all of them are better than the epson r8035. no problems with these printers. the only one with a problem is the epson r8035. the epson r8035 has a design problem, it has a defective cap for the ink tank and it leaks ink.

had an epson r8050 for a few years now and it’s a good printer.. happy with it.

got a r8070 recently and it prints well, but the touch screen is being rather temperamental. it seems to have a hard time getting the ink to flow properly through the nozzles. i can only print using the buttons on the right side of the printer. i get a few drops at a time, but it usually stops before the end of the print. i have it set up to print a 1.5 page page at a time. i’ve tried to adjust the settings, but no luck.

it’s not the end of the world, but i’d like to get a good print. i don’t think the problem is the ink, as i’ve had another brand of ink in the same tank and it’s fine. also i’ve tried a black tank and it prints ok. the ink flows well. it’s just the printer that has the problem. i’ve tried to reset the ink counter, but i get the message “error” when the unit is reset.

i have an epson stylus pro 3800 and i am having issues printing with certain types of paper. i have used the weight setting of the paper and it seems that for certain types of paper (white/cream) the paper feed is not working properly. i have adjusted the paper size and the printer is in the mode with the paper feed (both sides). i have also gone to the clean up setting and reset the ink counter but this does not seem to help the problem.
