Zar X Build 174 Crack
I read the review on here, and the reviews by the end user and their concerns about water resistant. Now, I do have a soggy glove issue.
It seems there is a crack at the back of the watch face. It is super painful to use the watch. I have to take it off and use my normal watch. I am saddened by my purchase. I feel the deal had gone bad, but they were so convincing at first, they got a bad rep and it cost me $400 to replace a watch that has a crack.
The reason I am sad is because I have always used Garmin watches. I have never left reviews before. A few years ago, when my first Garmin watch cracked, I found a lady through facebook and asked her about the watch. The face is just a skin tight, smooth black. It has no assembly, just snap on the face and snap off, snap on the band. My old watch broke, and I wanted a new one because my new phone needed to charge in my pocket. I told my friend about the issue, and she was also interested in buying the watch. I did not tell her to go get a used one. I did not say anything about the water proofing. I just wanted a new one. She bought the watch. She sent me the new watch in the mail. I was very happy. At that time, I didnt know about reviews, I just thought it was a cool thing to buy. I was glad I was one of the first people to buy a “water resistant” watch.
The 935 is nice with functions and all. The wife and I have one each. But the build quality is not good. She has had her replaced once, mine shouldve been too, but I dont want to go without a watch for weeks waiting for the replacement We have both gotten hairline fractures in the watch face, even ton my wifes replacement where she put on a screen protector! And the sensor on the back is cracked as well. Is this fixed on the 945 Or di we have to buy Fenix watches for them to be durable..
Update on FR935, after about a month of use, I had a small hairline crack in my watch, one of the sensors. I read the reviews and found that many others has that same problem, so apparently it’s not just me, but I did not take it out, I know it needs to be replaced, but I wouldnt want to risk shortening the service period, as it can cost up to US$75 here and I would not feel comfortable exchanging it in a shop, I’m not that far away to receive it back.
Only thing is I bought this watch to help me train and spend no more than 2 hours of my life on my Apple Watch without having to worry about taking it off to train. I wanted to get the best deal I could for the time I have to train and the potential downtime I might have to take apart. I get all of that with a watch that doesnt crack all over the place after 4-5 months of use. I am so done.
This isnt an issue for me. We all have cracks. Mine are mostly cosmetic, no issues. Its such an excellent product. I would hate to have some issue that didn’t bother me with other watches, that had a small cosmetic flaw that doesn’t affect the functionality. I don’t count myself in that league, though I know there are at least a few people like that.
I’ve been wearing this watch everyday for 6 months, or more. Never came home with cracked faces before. I did forget to get my daughter’s sunscreen on her face while wearing this and it has a small noticeable crack on the inside as well. Used a credit card to smooth it out and really did improve it a bit. I’ve also used this watch while doing aerobic exercise such as running, cycling, and swimming. No issues so far. The new watch is fine.
