A comparison between the RGB, CMYK and LCD color matrices can be performed by the function comparison(), which returns a Boolean value that indicates if the pixel of interest is the most similar to the pixel in the image.
In addition, the function also allows you to specify the bounding rectangle and the level of tolerance for the comparison (tolerance parameter).
The function for the recognition of barcodes can be applied by the matrix-based and subthresholding algorithms, and it can return the type, value and optional raw data (bytes) of the barcode or QR code.
The function compares the comparison results with the pixel in the image at the location of the bounding rectangle and the value of the tolerance parameter (tolerance parameter).
Besides, the function can be applied only to grayscale images.
The function for the extraction of barcode or QR code symbols also accepts the bounding rectangle, the type of barcode and the tolerance parameter.
