– transparent glass: this type of glass is used to cover the wall areas which are not to be viewed by the people. the transparent glass allows bright sunlight through it but reduces the amount of light in the room. for example, if the window is on the north-easterly aspect of the building, then the transparent glass would allow sunlight to enter through the window and at the same time, it would reduce the amount of light entering the building through the window. the amount of light is controlled by the type of glass used and the colour of the glass.
– coloured glass: this type of glass is used to cover the wall areas which are not to be viewed by the people. the coloured glass allows bright sunlight through it but reduces the amount of light in the room. the amount of light is controlled by the type of glass used and the colour of the glass.
