get window size of a java application

I am developing a multi language Swing application. I would like to know how to get the window size of a Java application running on Windows or Linux or Mac OS X. I want to do that programmatically (i.e. as java code), not via the task manager or any other visual way. Is this possible?

You can’t get the window size of a JFrame programmatically. You can get the size of the root window, but that will be the size of the entire application, not the JFrame.
You can use something like JNA to call WinAPI functions or JNA to call native functions to get the window size.

A way to find the Window dimensions can be done with the JWindow class.

In addition, in animal cells, mitochondria and nuclei have been found to contain an active glyoxalase system, which converts methylglyoxal to D-lactate. This enzyme appears to be stimulated by intra-mitochondrial H2O2. Studies are in progress to further examine the role of SODs and glyoxalase in mitochondrial and cellular processes, including the role of H2O2 in apoptosis. Studies are also in progress to compare the distribution of SOD isoenzymes in different organs and to determine the role of SOD in the response of the heart to acute injury. To determine whether or not SODs have other physiological roles, such as the protection of muscle cells against cytotoxicity, we are comparing the in vitro and in vivo antioxidant capabilities of SOD and glyoxalase isoenzymes. For many of the above studies, we have utilized genetically modified mice that contain SOD isoenzymes of mitochondrial and nuclear origin only.
