However, I feel that they are not removing visual elements and deleting objects. For most professional retouchers, however, this might be considered a good enough option. The biggest problem with Elements requesting the use of retouch tools is that it does not provide a real way or functionality to brush most tools over the objects, only to “paint over” objects, such as with the Foreground tool. This frustrates many users in my circles. I do not know if this will change in the future, but this could be seen as an important feature to improve. It is nice that they are adding these new functionality and that they will actively improve it over time. This may be the true key to promoting this software to the point that it has become another Photoshop, not just an image management tool. The problem is, what we are really seeing is that Elements is now a bit of a gateway program. It does not promote the capability of professional editing and graphic creation directly to the point where one can create amazing images automatically.
