7. all gameplay and cutscene systems have been revamped, and all quests have been rewritten and improved. there’s also an entirely new mode for 2-4 players to co-operate to survive in. if you want to game online, you can play in co-operative multiplayer, with customisable groups, or as a solo player with a buddy list.

8. the new version of the engine 4a is using now renders the game in hd, and includes many new features. for example, different character details are now visible in high-res in cutscenes and in-game; and there are new lighting, shading, and particle effects.

metro 2033 was a thoroughly impressive game that hit pc hard, pushing the envelope of what you could expect from the year 2013. if you enjoyed that game, you’re in for a treat with metro: last light. despite lacking a physical release for pc, metro: last light easily satisfied gamers when it came out on other consoles. this 2013 remastered edition rectifies some of the problems that the 2012 console version had, updating the world to a more modern, cleaner appearance, and even bringing in new gameplay changes to play to its strengths.
