A.F.8 is a project that I created for myself.
I wanted a digital clock that has a reminder function, stopwatch mode and has an easy-to-use interface.
You can use the functions of A.F.8 to create any number of self-designed clocks. You can also save your self-designed clocks as skins.
Some of the skins look like the regular “Microsoft Windows” clock. You can switch between these skins easily by using the “Load Skin” function.
A.F.8 also has an alarm function. You can set a single alarm event or recurring alarm events.
A.F.8 remembers the time, date and day of the week.
You can set the clock to 1AM, 2AM, 3AM, 4AM, 5AM, 6AM, 7AM, 8AM, 9AM, 10AM, 11AM, 12PM, 1PM, 2PM, 3PM, 4PM, 5PM, 6PM or 7PM.
The alarm will be set to the first time when the “Next Alarm” button is pressed.
The second “Next Alarm” button will set an “Alarm” event on a recurring basis. For example, you can set the alarm to “wake you up” every night at 12:00AM.
You can set the “Alarm Interval” from 1 minute to 9 days.
A.F.8 remembers all the previous settings when you close it.
You can open A.F.8 from another application, which will launch the skin that you have set as the active skin of A.F.8.
You can enable the “Pressing ‘Alarm’…” sound effect to use this sound effect to wake you up.
This sound effect can also be used to start other applications when the “Next Alarm” button is pressed. The following applications can be started: Windows Media Player, Notepad, etc.
