Adventus is very easy to use. Let’s start with the basic functionality of the software. It contains a total of six oscillators, which you can assign to any of the pads available in the software, to build the main sound of the instrument. For each of them, there is the possibility to apply the “fat” option, which adds a warm, creamy sound. All the pads are assigned to one LFO, which you can use to control the speed and pitch bend of the instruments.
You can choose between the six standard waveforms available in Adventus. They are: Saw, Sine, Triangle, Pulse, Ramp, and White Noise.
The second feature is the portamento option, which is a “control” within a portamento that lets you control the overall speed of the portamento, including the end points. They are very precise. When you touch the portamento pedal, the system slows the instrument down a little, depending on the speed you touch.
With the filters, you have the possibility to do quite a lot. You can apply 12dB, 24dB, Moog Filter Types: 3diferents Low Pass, High Pass, Band Pass, Band Reject ADSR’s, Amplifiers with controls for Attack, Decay, Sustain, Release, Midi CC control.
With the spectral carve function, you can select a filter type, a mid-range and a high range. There is a separate panel to adjust the band pass and the lower and upper stop positions.
Effects and modulation options are also provided. You have the possibility to modulate the instrument with a LFO and control the filter types with the spectral carve.
You can also use the LFO to modulate the pitch bended with an LFO as well, and you can also use the LFO to modulate the filter type with an LFO, either a

Adventus is a very powerful and powerful creative tool with a ton of capability. I am a powerful sequencer, powerful modulator, and powerful piano player, and this fully realized tool, as I have used it from the beginning, can be used for these purposes as well as for such things as generating ever-changing pads with randomly selected samples, and it has the ability to handle 4-5 different sources, so you can layer different sounds into each other and fade between them, an incredible feature.
The main controls let you generate many things. I started with 1 oscillator, and built it up from there. As it is a polyphonic oscillator, you can generate a number of notes, each of which can have a different sound or character, such as click, pump, sine, saw, triangle, white noise, ramp, any of many possible filter types, or other character, like PD, and this is one of the more powerful features. You can vary the filter shape from straight to elliptic, edit the cutoff frequency and resonance, control the phase response of the filter, and edit the envelope of the filter.
More or less powerful features can be added, such as the ability to control the pitch, the ability to control the filter and cutoff frequency with a combination of velocity, contour, velocity etc. and the ability to control the resonance and decay with similar controls.
This sequencer has three modes of operation.
1) Time-based Sequencer – for generating single notes or sequences of any length.
2) Pitch-based Sequencer – for generating single notes or sequences of any length.
3) LFO – for generating single notes or sequences of any length.
In the second and third modes, you can control the pitch, the filter, the cutoff frequency and resonance, as well as the decay, sustain, release, phase modulation, and any other controls you can think of, and you can use most of the same controls in the first mode as well.
6 unique parameters in each of the three modes are Pitch, Filter, Cutoff Freq, Resonance, Attack, and Decay.
Each of the time-based tracks can have a key track, which you can programmatically assign to any parameter, and key on one note per beat or set each note to auto-key on a default pattern.
The key track controls pitch, filter, cutoff freq, resonant, decay, sustain, and the various controls of the sound as described above.
