Axiomatic Design Tool is an application that enables the user to create a hierarchical list in any domain (functional, design or process). It is a practical example of Nam Suh’s theory.
According to Nam Suh, who developed the theory behind axiomatic design, this process leads to optimal design.

Entity Bean Validation – more than one Validator Error
I’d like to validate some classes to ensure that they are a particular type, e.g. only integers are valid, or only strings.
I’m using Spring 2.5.5 and have created a class called ValidatorBean and this has a single parameter with the type constraint.
public class ValidatorBean {
public static Class aValidator = Class.forName(“CustomValidator”);
public static ValidationTarget aTarget = new ValidationTarget();
public static void validate(Object target, String property, Object value)
throws ConstraintViolationException {
//…other validation
}
}
In the configuration class (Spring XML file), I’m instantiating an instance of ValidatorBean and executing the validate() method on the target class and the property name.
My problem is that the ValidationTarget is also throwing an error, although I’ve defined the property in my XML file as non-nullable…

Axiomatic Design Tool
Input: Creation of the list of items from which the design
hierarchy should be drawn.
Guidelines: the creator of the design hierarchy
specifies the rules of how the items, levels and sublevels are to be
treated. The creator can freely select the the root item and the
sub-level designations (the starting point for the list). The concept
of rules is very important.
Output: The list of items drawn from the input list.

Tips:
After creating the list, the user is free to assign some
of the items any names. The names assigned for the items at each
level are the names of the design rules or design guidelines.
At the same time, such an item at one level can be an item at
a higher level. Therefore, it is necessary to assign a general name
to the items that are higher in the hierarchy. (For example,
the user can assign the item “Manufacturing” as the name for
the “Design Guidelines”, but he will not assign the item “Design
Guidelines” as the name for the “List item”)
It is also possible to assign the same name to all of the
items at one level. (The user can manually make the
assignments between items at the same level, for example, if
the user wants to specify the design guidelines for the development
of the component “A”, he only needs to specify “A” without assigning
any design guideline for the component, and the Axiomatic Design Tool
will automatically give the name “Design Guidelines” for “A”)

Tip:
Optionally, the name list can be saved as a text file
and imported into the axiomatic design tool.
When this is done, the saved file is imported to determine what
items at each level are to be selected and what names should be assigned.Q:

Axiomatic Design Tool (April-2022)
1. Create a hierarchical list (e.g. Process, Function, Design, etc..).
2. Specify the number and type of level in the list.
3. Specify a full name for each level
4. The Axiomatic Design Tool will figure out the optimal number of levels to be defined and determine the name for each item in the list.
5. Specify the relationship between levels. (i.e. a two-level list in which a function is defined above a design)
6. Add items to the list
7. Select all items by clicking the check box
8. Save to file and open by name
9. Open from file
