The Tarnished Lands Between is a new fantasy action RPG that was developed by The Awesome Project and published by Accel and Nippon Ichi. It is being released on May 21, 2018.

The company produces action RPGs, such as the Wandering Star, Lost Sphear and Fantasy Life. It is also the developer of the popular Zanki series, which includes Zanki Zero and Zanki Zero Dual.

Accel Inc. is a Japanese entertainment company that mainly develops and publishes games. Based in Tokyo, it was established in 1960 and is now the largest independent game developer in Japan. It develops and publishes titles for all platforms and consoles.

How to reuse the variables introduced in the different part of the function

Suppose there is a function f, and I want to re-use a variable (assume it is x) in several different place of the function (say x appears at least once in the function code),
x = 3
f = lambda x: x+1
print f(x)
print f(x*2)

Is there a pythonic way to do this? So that I don’t write the variable name each time I want to use it.

A:

You can put the variable name in a tuple, and refer to the tuple inside the function:
x = 3
f = lambda x: x+1
(x,) = x,

print(f((x * 2)))

  I just received my copy of Tarnished Elysium, got it yesterday, having bought it yesterday as well, and finally got a chance to play it after my Preview. In short: it’s a good game, with a lot of potential to become a really fun game, but it definitely has some issues, for which I’ll give a rating later in this post.

  For now, I have to say that I wish i hadn’t waited so long to get this game, which could have been a nightmare to review. And while i’m having this moment of reflection, one thing is certain:

  this game has potential.

The presentation is on point, with a background full of little details to be discovered, beautiful watercolor and draft-style art, and a rich soundtrack.   The game is Flash-based, very simple to play. You have a class, an item, and stats — the stats can be modified later. On top of that, you get nine heroes to experiment with. The heroes come in six types: warrior, archer, mage, swift, wizard, and mystic. The best class is the mystic.

  The magic and fighting-related skills are good here, but the game is actually a lot about roleplaying; you can gain special attributes in which you improve yourself to become a better adventurer, deal a spell on an enemy, or recover after a fight. You’re just bound to encounter someone stronger, and sometimes times you have to back off and survive. You’ve got attacks, heals, and other spells to heal yourself. It’s a lot of fun.

  As for class-specific skills, mages and swifters have light attacks (where you can dodge) and medium attacks (where you can hurt). Warriors have the upper-hand in mediums and heavy attacks. Fighters can dodge and box, and archers can snipe. Magic comes only for mages, and requires timing, and can be parried. Heals and defensive skills are for the rest.
