A puzzle game where the main mechanic is digging through level after level of coloured glass. You control a character with a piece of glass and each level is comprised of a series of coloured glass to collect. There are two types of glass; grey and coloured. Grey glass is weak and coloured glass is strong. To dig the glass you must use your character’s special ability that requires two pieces of glass to break at once; red, orange or yellow.

The game has many puzzles in each level that usually require you to find a square puzzle of coloured glass that have to be broken to make a passage to the next level. You are given a goal to reach at the end of each level, usually you have to collect a certain amount of coloured glass to open the gate or have to have enough strength to dig through a set number of levels.

Gameplay is simple enough that the only thing you have to pay attention to is finding coloured glass, but the puzzles are challenging. As soon as you start digging you’ll find a puzzle that will require you to figure out a pattern that won’t leave a hole in the side of the glass. There’s no rush to find the puzzle or to solve it, the experience is what matters most, and it will take you a while to get through each level.

The art style is very nice and the colours are very vivid. The music is well chosen and has a nice sense of pace and the level design is varied so there is always something new.

The environment is fantastic; every level has its own atmosphere and style. The main thing that stands out is the glass; you have to find the coloured glasses. Their texture looks hand painted and they’re all different and beautiful. They are so detailed that you have to take your time and really look at the glass, you don’t want to miss a piece. The levels have a nice variety of size and structure. There are caverns with water, desert with sand, dark levels, indoor and outdoor areas.

There is no time limit and you are given unlimited amount of attempts to solve each puzzle so you have to keep coming back to solve it. However, they are not impossible puzzles so you can lose heart and give up several times, but you’re not guaranteed to succeed. You can pause the game at any time and you can look at each glass for seconds to solve the puzzle, but you can also use that time to look around for the solution or try something different.
