Harmonic Series reproduces a wealth of the most challenging sounds, from common studio techniques like whammy bar, hammer-on, and sustain pedal samples, to grand piano reverbs and delicate harmonic effects. With over 677 pieces, the Harmonic Series is the most comprehensive collection of its type. The Harmonic Series concludes the Ivory II-Studio Group, and includes six ivory 2 pianos.
With a dedicated panel of technicians, Synthogy’s engineering team developed a new, innovative technique called Pianoworld. Instead of simply creating a score with or without the use of a piano, Synthogy also takes into account the hard-to-capture acoustics of the recording studio. With the exception of the very low, very high, and very bright sound ranges, the engineer is left with only the recording studio’s limitations to contend with. These limitations can become a problem in conventional modeling techniques, where the engineer has to compensate for them somehow. Pianoworld’s unique approach allows the engineer to take the recording studio into account naturally as part of the modeling process.
Ivory II Synthogy is Ivory II combined with Synthogy’s best modeling technologies and production techniques. While its basic functions remain largely the same as Ivory II, all sound content can be easily upgraded, for an enhanced experience. Add 6 new ivory 2 pianos, 28 grand piano/console, and 34 upright piano/console models. These include 5 new synthesizer models, 3 orchestral percussion libraries, piano effects, and a Xenharmonic instrument, complete with an exclusive Xenharmonic effect engine.
